In our mixed-age environment, children play, create ( and learn) with peers older and younger. This encourages them to collaborate, develop care, leadership skills, self-pride and most importantly, build a sense of community. Oh, it's beautiful! 

Sometimes we like to take out ALL of our Loose Parts and the children LOVE it! Why? Because they get to create anything they come up with. Building a tower, beading, making a shake bottle...it's the best way to create! 

At our Camp, children have the freedom to choose what they want to do. While John and Emma build a fort together, Susie may enjoy mixing playdough by herself. They may switch spots, join together or start something completely new. Our program is truly one-of-a-kind!   

There's something about fort building that NEVER gets old...some children enjoy the construction component, some enjoy doing the decoration but they all love hiding under the fort and that's when their secret town hall happens! These are the camp moments they'll remember forever! 

Connecting with nature is a BIG part of what we do here! This is the place where we get to explore endless possibilities
(and so much learning!). What you're seeing here is a young child drying her polyester silk fabrics after spraying them with soap bubbles and ringing in the bucket. Lots of sequencing and independent play happening at camp!

Don't be surprised if your child comes home with paint all over them because that's what we do at art camp, haha! And if you get upset about the mess, your child may correct you that "It's painty, not messy!". Now you know they're the best most wonderful artists in town!
